First-Person Shooter The Walking Dead Arriving in 2013

AMC's The Walking Dead television series about post zombie apocalypse survivors is one of the most critically acclaimed and popular television series out right now. Developer Telltale Games has been bringing gamers an episodic adventure game of the same name to huge success and now fans of the franchise will soon have another game to sink their teeth in (no zombie-inspired pun intended). Terminal Reality is developing a first-person shooter, simply called The Walking Dead Video Game. Based on the recently released teaser trailer (seen below), it seems like players will take on the role of Daryl Dixon, one of the fan favorites from the television series. Daryl seems like a wise choice, as he's deadly accurate with his trademark crossbow. The trailer also hints at possible co-op play, with the second player taking on the role of his brother, Merle Dixon. The game will take place prior to the events on the television series, as the trailer clearly states "Before Atlanta", which means **TV SPOILER ALERT**, Merle will have both hands.

Further details on the game are unknown at this time, other than it coming to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
