Valve Unveils Team Fortress 2 Pyromania Update

The final Meet the Team video for Team Fortress 2 is nearly here, as Meet the Pyro will premiere in about two days. Valve is calling it the Pyromania Update and is doing a bit of a celebration for the video, complete with new maps and game modes. The first day of Pyromania showcases Doomsday, which is a new map featuring a game mode that has you "relive one of the darkest days of TF history." One team will have the "honor" of transporting a suitcase nuke of recalled Mann Co. Australium to "American monkeynaut" Poopy Joe's rocket. Joe will then blast off and head into space to track down "Soviet chimp" Vladimir Bananas. Both teams have to get the suitcase up an incredibly slow-moving elevator to the rocket, where Poopy Joe will launch his mission. There are also eleven new achievements to earn during Doomsday, so get out there and get the monkey to space!

Valve has not mentioned the other parts of the update just yet, nor the Adult Swim collaboration, but we have just a couple short days to go before we find out.
