Over the last couple of days, we've talked about the unveiling of Ubisoft's Watch Dogs and how it will offer a unique online experience to go along with its open-world action adventure. Two main questions have been on everyone's minds: When will it be launching and for what platforms? According to a recent tweet on the official Watch Dogs Twitter account, "the game will be released in 2013 and will be on released on PC and consoles." So a 2013 PC release is scheduled, but notice how specific consoles were not mentioned. Though some sites have reported that Ubisoft confirmed Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, I have not been able to find any direct source for such information. In fact, every direct line of information, from the official Watch Dogs Twitter account to developer interviews have all simply used the word "consoles" or "multi-platform" and are not willing to divulge what those platforms will be, aside from the PC. As such, this still leaves me to believe these will be "next-gen" consoles, otherwise, why wouldn't they come out and say it? Regardless, we know for sure it's coming to the PC – and that's enough for me!
