Samsung Developing New Processors

Samsung has announced that it plans to invest $1.9 billion to develop a new line of processors built using 20nm and 14nm processes. The 300mm wafers will contain the next generation of processors that Samsung hopes will be a big hit in the expanding mobile device market. Samsung had previously announced plans to build a new NAND flash factory in China which will cost up to $4.2 billion. These two moves should help to position the company to be a key provider of next generation technology as mobile devices get more powerful and continue to increase in demand.
