Zotac Releases GeForce GT 640 Graphics Card

Zotac has introduced a new member of the GeForce 600 series to its product lineup with the arrival of the GT 640, a mainstreaam card for those wanting to add dedicated graphics based on NVIDIA's Kepler architecture on a budget. With 384 processor cores and a core clock speed of 900Mhz, the GT 640 uses the PCI-E 3.0 interface and incorporates the NVIDIA Surround to drive three displays via a mini-HDMI connection and pair of dual-link DVI outputs. Zotac has not announced the availability date yet, but you can expect the card to be offered at just under $100USD.
