ECS has announced a new video card based on the NVIDIA GTX680 GPU, the GTX680 Black Series. The card has gone through the new ECS Nonstop Certification process which put the card through a battery of tests designed to deliver the best product to the consumer. The tests subjected the card to stress tests that go well beyond the industry standard. The card features a five heatpipe cooler with two fans to help keep the card running cool while under heavy loads from gaming. A tweaking utility from ECS is available to allow users to change the memory speed and GPU clock. The card uses the PCI-E 3.0 interface, 2GB of DDR5 memory, and a GPU running at 1040MHz. Up to four displays can be connected using dual-link DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort connections.
