The new DmC: Devil May Cry is certainly nothing like the Devil May Cry first seen on the PlayStation 2. Even Devil May Cry 4 with the new protagonist still followed the familiar formula of the previous games, but DmC: Devil May Cry is a decidedly different beast. Sure, you play as Dante once more and graphically the game is the best in the series, but it is the appearance and attitude of Dante that sets this one apart. DmC: Devil May Cry features a much younger Dante (in a parallel universe) with a far more snarkier attitude than before, but his fighting skills are just as good as ever. The new E3 trailer gives a look at what to expect from Ninja Theory's entry into the DMC world, and I have to say it looks good. The action is certainly there, but this new take on Dante may not appeal to everybody. Still, it does look fun.
DmC: Devil May Cry launches on January 13th, 2013, for the PS3 and 360. A PC version will follow at a later date.
