DmC Devil May Cry Dated for January 2013 - PC Version Arrives Later

The fifth Devil May Cry game is currently in production, but instead of continuing where Devil May Cry 4 left off, this one is set in a parallel universe with a teenage Dante. DmC Devil May Cry is being developed by Ninja Theory and serves as a reboot for the series, with the developer promising a "more brutal and visceral" experience. Today Capcom has announced when we can get our hands on the game and, like so many others, will not release this year. DmC Devil May Cry will launch on January 15th, 2013 for the PS3 and 360, but the PC version is listed as "later in 2013." Hopefully Capcom gets a solid release date for the PC version, but either way you look at it the start of 2013 is shaping up to be an incredibly crowded gaming time.

Forte on May 22, 2012 01:18PM OMG I wanted to know what happens with Nero and how he fits into the whole Dante/Vergil situation. ARRGGHH<<---another 8 months I literally made a custom pc case to bring in the new DMC by commemorating the old one. Well I guess another 8 months of working on it :P. But honestly I thought this game would be a real bust like windows 8 but it honestly has potential.Sad though i hope this is like a flashback situation and later in the game Dante is back and is trying to fight Vergil again XD. reply to this

masterbinky on May 22, 2012 01:32PM I think the game developers know the world will end in december and that's why they can happily set their release dates as January 2013 instead of releasing it this year. reply to this
