NVIDIA released its earnings report for the first quarter of 2012 on Friday, and it was for the most part very positive. It earned $60 million in profit on revenue of $924 million. With these good results and the recent release of video cards such as the GTX 670, the company increased revenue forecasts for the current quarter from $990 million to $1.05 billion. In some unfortunate news, Project Grey, a Tegra processor that contains built-in support for 4G LTE networks, won't be available until next year. CEO Jen-Hsun Huang stated, “Looking forward, you’ll see Tegra 3 LTE phones with partners’ baseband processors in the second half of this year and then next year with our own LTE baseband processors as well.”
