First we had the GTX 680, NVIDIA's top-end single-GPU video card. Just a tad over a month later, NVIDIA rocked the computer world with its GTX 690, a dual GPU beast of a card. Here we are just a week later and NVIDIA is back at it with the release of the GeForce GTX 670, a less-expensive card that slots in nicely below the GTX 680 at $399. While still based on the Kepler GK104 core, the GTX 670 has had one of the eight SMX units disabled, reducing the CUDA core count to 1344. You also have 112 texture units and 32 ROPs with a base clock speed of 915MHz. The GTX 670 also has 2GB of GDDR5 memory running at 1500MHz. Read on to found out how this card stacks up.
