Watch the First Gameplay Trailer for Assassin's Creed III

Remember how Ubisoft wanted our help to unlock the world premier gameplay trailer for Assassin's Creed III? Well, it did not take all that long to accomplish as the new trailer is now available. As the trailer begins, you see a message saying the footage is all pre-alpha, but even with that it looks great. The trailer is narrated by the new protagonist Connor who says he is torn between two worlds. On one hand, he wants to repel all outsiders, while on the other, he is the outsider. Connor's Native American blood means even Colonials will look down on him, which should provide for some interesting dilemmas in the game. The footage shows off a variety of ways to kill the enemy, and even a potential battle with a bear. You need to watch the trailer to take it all in, but I warn you, try to keep your jaw from hitting the floor.

Assassin's Creed III arrives on October 30th for the PC, PS3, and 360. GameStop has a pre-order bonus offer, which you can see at the end of the trailer below.
