Sony's Big Announcement Leaks Early - God of War: Ascension

Well, it seems the proverbial cat is out of the bag concerning Sony's big announcement. This time Amazon.com is the culprit behind revealing the information, as it posted box art and a teaser trailer for God of War: Ascension for the PlayStation 3. A God of War IV has been rumored for quite some time, and now it looks like it will be known as God of War: Ascension. This game is a prequel to the series that should show how Kratos became the Ghost of Sparta and eventually the God of War. The teaser trailer is voiced by the Titan Gaia as she sets up this prequel, with her saying there was a time "before rage consumed" Kratos. The words of the Titan sound like we will be controlling Kratos as he leads the Spartan Army, but we will have to wait for an official announcement to be certain.
