Our lucky console brethren may have gotten their hands on the much-loved action-RPG Dark Souls first, but Namco Bandai finally relented and gave us PC gamers a version of the brutal game, along with some punishing new content to hack through. Confirmed by the publisher today at a Las Vegas event, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition for the PC looks to build upon the mercilessly satisfying combat with a motley crew of tough new bosses to cut down. Let's hope the Games for Windows Live integration won't sully the online experience, although judging by the outstanding console reviews, we should have plenty of intense moments while charging solely through the unrelenting single-player campaign. Mark your calendars for Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition's release date on August 24.
