Cubitek has announced a new line of computer cases, dubbed the ICE Series. The five new models are made using 2.5mm extrusion aluminum, allowing the cases to be stronger than other cases on the market while being lighter at the same time. Each design is targeted at a different motherboard form factor, from Mini-ITX to HPTX. The price of each case corresponds to the size of the motherboard it is meant to hold, with the Mini ICE at $169.90 and the HPTX ICE at $359.90. The sturdy materials used in the construction contribute to a design geared towards anti-vibration that also includes rubber mounts for hard drives. There are several fan mount points that will allow for cool air to be blown in while hot air is blown out of the case. Also included is a motherboard tray that features numerous routing and tie points to aid in cable management. A top mounted I/O panel includes two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and audio I/O ports.
