Just the other day, Brian Fargo launched a Kickstarter page for fans to help fund Wasteland 2. The goal was set at $900,000, but within a day was already halfway there. Now, with around a month remaining, the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter fund has surpassed the goal with no sign of slowing down. As of press time, the donated amount is $1,059,316, which means Fargo and his team will have more than enough money to make Wasteland 2 a reality and potentially add even more to the game. If the amount reaches $1.25 million, then more content and depth will be added, while $1.5 million will mean Mac, Linux, and possibly tablet support. Higher amounts should mean even more content, but as of now, Wasteland 2 is going to be created thanks to the fans. You can still head over to the Kickstarter page to help out and get a free copy of the game.
