Thermaltake Adds to Max Series of Hard Drive Enclosures

Thermaltake has announced two new products in the Max series focused on hard drive accessories. The Max 5G external hard drive enclosure features a metal mesh design to provide better airflow and heat dissipation. A quick release mechanism and plug and play support make it simple to swap out any 2.5" hard drive with ease. A USB 3.0 connection will allow data transfer rates up to 5.0Gb/s. The Max Duo allows users to pack both a 2.5" and 3.5" hard drive into one 5.25" drive bay. USB 3.0 is supported using internal headers, and tool-free access will provide speedy installation. The Max Duo supports both hot-swap and hot-plug, and a switch on the front panel allows users to quickly power the drives up or down.
