The Google Docs app on the Android OS has received an upgrade, giving it access to one of the most useful features of the Google service. Documents accessed from the mobile app will now support access by more than one simultaneous user. This opens up the collaboration feature that previously eluded phone and tablet users. The UI has also received an update to accommodate icons for rich text editing, such as bold and italics. Pinch to zoom has been added to the current option of double tapping the screen to zoom in or out. Unfortunately, the app still lacks support for collaboration on spreadsheets at this time.
