The plight of The Last Guardian is well known, with the myriad of delays and even the loss of the lead designer at Team Ico setting the game back further and further. Now it seems luck is finally on the game's side, as Sony Worldwide Studios and God of War developer Sony Santa Monica are chipping in to help Team Ico finish The Last Guardian. Both Sony Worldwide and Sony Santa Monica have some of the best engineers around, and are giving Team Ico any help it needs. Originally announced back in 2009, The Last Guardian is a tale about a boy and his dog, with the boy getting help from the dog to navigate the world's various puzzles. The dog, however, is no ordinary dog as it is a giant, feathered dog-like creature with bird-like legs. It is an interesting hybrid, but the dog seems friendly enough with the boy. Not much else is known about the game, but images of it do show off an impressive amount of detail. With all of these studios helping out on the development now, perhaps The Last Guardian will finally get released.
