Peripheral makers have to try and stay one step ahead of each other, but as with any competition, a little banter is nothing out of the ordinary. Last year, Razer launched a site declaring PC gaming is not dead, which then lead to the reveal of the Blade gaming laptop. The company did it again with Project Fiona, the gaming tablet that was unveiled just last month at CES. Now, Roccat has launched a teaser site asking the question "Isn't PC gaming dead?" Roccat has taken a page out of Razer's book, but also pokes fun at the US peripheral maker by thinking PC gaming does not need a revolution but rather an evolution. Roccat has been known in Europe for some time, but has only recently launched its keyboards, mice, and headsets in the US. You can head over to the company's teaser site to see a countdown clock that will expire in about two weeks, and also leave some feedback on what exactly you would like to see.

Will someone please explain the joke to me? Roccat ONLY sells PC gaming equipment and in general it doesn't compete well...
