In a world where first-person shooters are barely distinguishable from each other and sequels reign supreme, it is always good to see something different take hold. It was not that long ago when Tim Schafer announced his studio, Double Fine Productions, created a Kickstarter page in order to get some funding to design a new adventure game. Within hours, the $400,000 goal was reached, and in less than a day the Kickstarter page had $1 million. Now, Double Fine has surpassed $2 million on the Kickstarter page, and there are still 21 days to go to donate. All that extra money is going towards more features for the new game, with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android versions planned, and the text will be localized in French, Spanish, German, and Italian. There will be Steam codes and DRM-free codes available once the game is released, and I am sure more things can be added with all those donations.
