When Alan Wake was first announced, there was always a plan for the game to release on the PC. Then the tune changed as Remedy Entertainment announced games like Alan Wake were better played in the comfort of your living room, and only an Xbox 360 version ever saw release. However, all of that changed last month when Remedy announced Alan Wake would release on the PC in the early part of 2012. Now, we have a release window, and Alan Wake will be launching on the PC in February, though a specific date next month was not mentioned. Alan Wake will be on Steam and will not use Games for Windows Live, as a "small" team of developers at Remedy have been working on the PC version, along with assistance from Nitro Games. The PC version will also include The Signal and The Writer DLC packs, giving PC gamers who have waited for Alan Wake a little bit more for their dollar.
