Scythe Releases Solid Power Bronze and Gold Series Power Supplies

Scythe today released its Solid Power Bronze and Solid Power Gold series power supplies in Japan. The new power supplies meet the 80 PLUS Bronze (Solid Power Bronze series) and 80 PLUS Gold (Solid Power Gold series) requirements, helping consumers to reduce power wastage. Both series are identical in appearance and are non-modular. The Solid Power Bronze PSUs feature two 6+2-pin PCIe, one FDD, three Molex and six SATA connectors along with the standard 24-pin ATX connector. The Solid Power Gold series power supplies add three extra Molex connectors (six in total). Both lines of power supplies include an 120mm cooling fan and measure 150x140x86mm (WxDxH). The Solid Power Bronze series consists of 550W and 650W units where as the Solid Power Gold series offers 500W and 600W versions. Scythe did not reveal details regarding the pricing of the Solid Power PSUs.
