EVGA may be best known for its video cards and motherboards, but that is not everything the company has in store. You may remember EVGA dabbling in the world of power supplies a while back, but now it will enter it in full with the NEX series. The EVGA NEX series of power supplies include 650, 750, 1000, and 1500 watt models, and include some interesting features. EVGA is pretty quiet on everything the NEX PSUs will offer, however it did say the PSUs will have an innovative cable design, "configurable" +12V rails, and an easy to use dummy mode for dual-PSU systems. The NEX PSUs are still a little ways away from coming to market, and when it does will have some competition on its hands. Hopefully EVGA can really nail the design of the NEX PSUs, as I am sure many people would be interested, especially if EVGA includes a lifetime warranty like some of its other products.

Man I hope they aren't overdoing themselves. BFGTech did the same thing and shortly there after the company went under.

It looked to be the Antec Quattro 1200 OC rebranded as EVGA SR2. I can't remember if it was confirmed as it or not, but it was the design of the Antec just with EVGA badges.
