Ubisoft has weaved an interesting tale with the fate of the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. There was originally going to be a PC version launched alongside the console versions, but then Ubisoft canceled the PC version due to "piracy concerns." The studio said Ghost Recon Online would be the only option for PC players to experience a Ghost Recon game, but now it looks like Ubisoft is changing its stance once again. Ubisoft has pegged May 22nd as the launch date for the PS3 and 360 versions of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, and also announced a PC version would be coming later. There was no announced date for the PC version, just that it will launch sometime after the console versions. While this is good news that PC gamers will get to experience Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, having the game be delayed, canceled, revived, and then delayed again should not sit too well with them.
Ghost Recon: Future Solider will launch on May 22nd for the PS3 and 360. The PC version will launch at "a later date."
