HP has unveiled its latest ultrabook dubbed the ENVY 14 Spectre. The new ultrabook is crafted from scratch-resistant black and silver glass to create a striking look. As the name suggests, the ENVY 14 Spectre has a 14" high definition "HP Radiance Display" for vivid colour and better viewing angles, all packed into a 13.3" body. Audio is supplied by Beats Audio mesh speakers coupled with an analog aluminium volume dial. HP Wireless Audio technology allows uncompressed audio streaming to the ultrabook from up to four external devices. The ENVY 14 Spectre is equipped with an Intel Core CPU, up to 256GB of storage space and a backlit keyboard with proximity sensor. Connectivity includes USB 3.0, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort and Gigabit Ethernet ports. The ultrabook has a quoted battery life of up to nine hours. The ENVY 14 Spectre weighs under four pounds, is 20mm thin and should be available on February 8 in the United States, starting at $1,399.99.
