New Update for TES V: Skyrim Coming Week of November 28th
Many of you, myself included, have been wrapped up in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, the latest epic RPG from Bethesda Game Studios. Skyrim launched last Friday, so we have had a week to build up our characters, explore the frozen land of the Nords, battle dragons and other monsters, and encounter some bugs or glitches. Some of these problems affect AMD users running Crossfire (it isn't really supported) while nearly everyone playing Skyrim has encountered something else, be it a crash to desktop, missing textures, flying creatures that have no business to be airborne, or a variety of other issues. Many of these are part and parcel with a Bethesda title, but the development team is hard at work on getting a patch out to us. Bethesda's Pete Hines announced a patch for Skyrim is coming and we can expect it the week of November 28th. That may not be the kind of news you're hoping to hear, but we will be getting a patch soon. The console versions need to get the update certified first, while PC gamers just simply want the patch. Bethesda did not announce exactly what the patch will fix, just that one is coming.
