Good Old Games to Offer New Games Next Year
I'm sure there are some of you that use the website Good Old Games to find some classic video games or simply ones that have been out for a while. GOG.com takes these classic games, makes sure they work on modern systems, and sells them for a flat rate with no DRM. The titles offered by GOG.com are typically three years old or older, but now that will soon change. Starting next year, Good Old Games will begin offering newer titles and has begun to work with developers and independent publishers to line up some titles. GOG.com remains committed to offering the games (new and old) without DRM and for a flat rate (even internationally), but now it wants to become a bigger player in the digital distribution market. It sounds like GOG.com has its sights set on Steam, but I just hope Good Old Games keeps expanding its catalogue of classic games in addition to adding the new ones.
