We saw the release of Intel's Sandy Bridge E processors today and along with that several new motherboards based on the X79 Express chipsets were also reviewed. You also need new memory certified to run on those new boards and G.Skill is one of several manufacturers to announce a new series of memory kits. Dubbed the RipjawsZ, G.Skill is offering several quad-channel kits in sizes from 8GB (4GB x 2) to 64GB (8GB x 8) and speeds ranging from 1333MHz to 2500MHz. The high-end (1866MHz and above) kits come with Intel XMP 1.3 for trouble-free overclocking. G.Skill engineers have tested the memory in sever X79 boards including ones from ASUS, MSI, ASRock, Gigabyte, ECS and more. Check out the attached images to see more on the various part numbers being offered.
