November 11th is finally here, which means Bethesda Game Studios' latest creation has been released. That is right, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is officially available, although some people have already been playing it for some time. Skyrim sees you play as the Dovahkiin, or Dragonborn, a mortal born with the soul of a dragon, which means you can speak their language. Oh yes, the dragons have a language of their own, and you may even hear them talk to you while swooping down to attack you. As the Dovahkiin, you can use the dragon's language against them, launching powerful shouts to do damage, slow down time, or a variety of other abilities. The world of Skyrim is quite massive, and is chock full of cities, towns, villages, dungeons, and a huge assortment of things to explore and discover. Thanks to the ability to have infinite quests, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will keep you busy for some time. There is a patch to download once you get the game installed, but it simply addresses some quest progression issues and should be fairly small. The dragons will be waiting for you when you arrive in Skyrim.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now for the PC, PS3, and 360. Included below is the announcement trailer for the game, to help get you in the mood for some adventuring.
