Noctua recently announced the release of the NF-F12 Focused Flow 120mm fan. The new fan uses Focused Flow technology consisting of eleven stator guide vans coupled with a special seven-blade impeller design to focus the airflow and create better static pressure to increase performance on heatsinks and radiators. Additional design improvements include increased aerodynamic performance, second-generation SSO bearings and a new, custom  designed PWM IC for fully automatic control. When you put all of this together you get a very quiet operating fan.

The improved aerodynamics and variable angles used in the guide vanes help spread the noise pattern across a broader frequency, making the noise signature less annoying and more agreeable to the human ear. The NF-12 also makes use of a Stepped Inlet Design, which increases turbulence on the intake side of the fan to help facilitate the transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow.

Other useful design features include lower power consumption, quieter operation via integrated anti-vibration pads and modular cabling. The NF-F12 is available now at a suggested retail price of EUR 19.90 / USD 24.90.

Yeah I would love to pick some of these up but I just can't justify paying over $100 for a FAN to replace the ones in my case... The Yate Loon's will have to do for now.
