Hard Reset released a couple of months ago, and it was a tribute to past first-person shooters. Hard Reset is the first game from Flying Wild Hog, but the studio is composed of people who worked on games like Painkiller and The Witcher series. The game is a PC-exclusive, so that means it is able to take advantage of all sorts of new technology that console ports lack. Today, a new patch is now out for Hard Reset that adds several new features, like a Survival mode, 3D Vision and Surround, and multi-display support. Those last few are reserved for users with high-end systems, but anyone will be able to take advantage of the new Survival mode. Survival mode has various difficulty settings for you to tackle, along with new maps and a leaderboard to compare how you do with your friends. There are also some gameplay tweaks, which you can check out the full list at the Steam forums.
