I know many gamers are currently enjoying Battlefield 3, which just released earlier this week in the US. The game uses a new graphics engine to help deliver the destruction, and the multiplayer gameplay should keep many gamers content for a long time. The first DLC for the game, Back to Karkand, has been known for quite some time, as it features four classic maps redone in the Frostbite 2 engine, along with new weapons, vehicles, dogtags, and achievements/trophies. For those who pre-ordered the game, Back to Karkand will be free, while those who did not will need to pay a small fee to get it. Today, we now know when to expect the DLC to launch, as Back to Karkand has been dated for December. I know many people are eagerly awaiting to see the reimagined maps, so at least there is not too long of a wait to try them out. Back to Karkand will cost $14.99 if you did not pre-order the game.
