Gigabyte Reveals G1. Assassin 2 Motherboard

Gigabyte has released some information about its first entry into the Intel 2011 socket arena, the G1. Assassin 2. The X79 series board will support the next generation of Intel Core processors, and has its sights set on all the gamers out there. The G1. Assassin 2 comes with high end on board sound and networking components to ensure that you are ready to go with the best right out of the box. With a Bigfoot Networks’ Killer E2100 and a Creative Soundblaster X-Fi digital audio processor, the G1. Assassin 2 packs some serious punch without any extra components needed. The black and neon green color scheme looks great to me, and the ‘Locked and Loaded’ heatsink array should keep the board running nice and cool.
