Many people have speculated on when exactly we would see a 28nm GPU, and AMD has delivered. Talking at Fusion 2011 in Taiwan, Matt Skynner, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of AMD's Graphics Division, demonstrated AMD's 28nm graphics processor. Skynner showed a laptop version of a 28nm GPU running BioWare's Dragon Age 2, with smooth gameplay delivered at a high resolution. The 28nm GPU is an important step for AMD, as it will help enable new innovations in its graphics architecture, which allows for even more powerful video cards to be released. The 28nm graphic processor will appear in AMD's next-generation video cards, something I am sure many of you are eagerly awaiting.
