Earlier this month, DICE's community manager said that "voice chat and squadding" will be handled by Battelog for Battlefield 3. This prompted an uproar by many fans, since in-game squad management has been a key feature of past Battlefield games. Well, it seems the community manager simply misspoke, as another DICE employee said that Battlefield 3 will feature full squad support in-game. This is good news for many, as in-game squad support lets you form private squads and even kick players from those squads. You can still manage the squads through Battlelog, but now you will also be able to from within the game itself. The people who were worried about the squad options of Battlefield 3 should now be able to rest a little bit easier.
Battlefield 3 launches on October 25th for the PC, PS3, and 360.
