Red Dead Redemption launched last May on the PS3 and 360. It is the second game in the Red Dead series, and sees your character, John Marston, try to save his family and get his life back in order. The game is set in a fictional area along the US and Mexico border in 1908, meaning you're right at the end of the days of the wild west. The game was incredibly popular since it let you do everything you could think of in the old west, while delivering an exceptional story. Today, Rockstar has announced a Game of the Year edition of Red Dead Redemption will be available later this fall for the PS3 and 360. The GOTY edition will include the original game along with the DLC: Undead Nightmare, Legends and Killers Pack, Liars and Cheats Pack, Hunting and Trading Outfits Pack, all original pre-order content (Deadly Assassin outfit, War Horse, and Golden Guns Weapons Pack), Solomon's Folly gang hideout and challenges, and the new Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack.

Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year edition will be out on October 11th in North America and October 14th everywhere else. It will be available for the PS3 and 360, with no mention of a PC version yet.

The GotY edition should totally be a PC-exclusive. LAME!

People who think things should be exclusive are lame ;) I might buy it to see what its all about... maybe my Halloween game?

Or the idea of wanting something to be exclusive even though its cheaper on PC is Lame, first was harsh

No exclusive releases fullstop. If at release it was for multiple platforms release all updates and dlc at the same time (bar platform specific patches). One thing I hate is exclusive dlc on xbox for skyrim for a short while (30 days at least possibly more)before being available on PC. To begin with my version of Morrowind looks better than oblivion on xbox probably the same with Skyrim as it will be limited severely by the xbox hardware. So it will look nowhere near as good as will on pc but it appears there is this stupid push towards trying to force more people to get console versions of games.

Or maybe to convert people from PS3, I don't think they care that much about PC
