It seems that Dead Island's debut is off to a rocky start. Apparently, Deep Silver released a dev version of the game to US Steam customers, but the publisher assured users that the final version will be available later today. The less-than-stellar reviews also indicate the game as an enjoyable zombie romp, but plagued with glaring problems that made Dead Island appear like a half-finished game. To address some of the game's numerous issues, a huge patch for Dead Island will be released this Friday. These include 37 game bugs, from twitchy animations, enemy response to fire, and graphical UI issues, among others. For the full list of the fixes, go here.
