Gearbox recently presented a video showcase of Borderlands 2, featuring a plethora of details about the much-awaited cell-shaded shooter. In this leaked gameplay video, we're introduced to a new character, Maya the Siren, who's helping out in a rescue mission to save Roland, a character from the previous game. There's also a disposable Wal-Mart-like weapon, and a new enemy called a Nomad who cleverly uses squealing midgets as meat-shields. The video isn't the best quality, but the presentation offers a tantalizing glimpse of the actual game itself(not a demo).
Gearbox promises a leaner, more gripping experience for Borderlands 2. Judging by the collective applause to the 14-minute gameplay video, the sequel looks all set to deliver. Get ready to play the game by April 2012.
