Deus Ex: Human Revolution may be the best reason to play a game as summer winds down and turns to fall, but what do you do if you've already beaten the game? Well, you try out the new downloadable content for the game, of course! Early last week, code-crackers broke the secrets on an Eidos Montreal teaser site for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. That cracked code revealed some plans for DLC, and now Eidos has confirmed it. Deus Ex: Human Revolution will see some DLC arriving this October, which will be called "The Missing Link." It appears to take place during the main story of Human Revolution, since Adam, the main character, disappears for three days. Those three days are what this DLC covers, and it seems you get your augments disabled at first. You are captured and tortured, and with your augments disabled, you must rely on your basic abilities to escape a freighter heading towards an "unknown location." Eidos says that we can expect "sprawling new environments," new characters, and the ability to rebuild Adam's augments from scratch. This sounds like the perfect way to redo your augments if you are unhappy with what you've upgraded so far.
An exact release date for the first DLC for Deus Ex: Human Revolution was not announced, we just know to expect it this October.
