In a story that is similar to the debacle Apple had last year with the iPhone 4, it has apparently lost an unreleased iPhone 5 at a bar in San Francisco. The missing iPhone 4 fetched $5,000 from Gizmodo, while in this case it appears the device may have been sold on Craigslist for $200. The phone is alleged to have gone missing at Cava 22, a tequila lounge, and was then traced electronically by Apple. Police and Apple security went to the house and spoke to the man they found there. After giving police permission to search the residence, nothing was found, even after money was offered for the return of the phone, no questions asked. After the last lost phone, Apple has attempted to increase security, but it has been unable to remove the human element.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2032616/iPhone-5-lost-bar-Apple-emploee.html Check how similar the chassis is to the iPhone4. I reckon the person who found it didn't even realise it wasn't a 4 so just sold it for $200 rather than the price it could have fetched. This makes me suspect the next phone won't even be a full blown 5, but just a rumoured 4S with minor changes. They haven't even put in a bigger screen which imo the 5 MUST have.

Increase security? BS! Apple is purposefully leaking these phones to drum up excitement and interest.
