TES V: Skyrim DLC to be Xbox 360-Exclusive for a Month
One of the games I am looking forward to the most has to be the next entry in Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim. The game is set in the province of the Nords, suitably called Skyrim, and has you take on the role of the Dragonborn, the one warrior that the reawakened dragons fear the most. Oh yes, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim includes dragons, something that the previous entries have never had. The dragons have come back to roam the skies and ravage the land, and it is up to you to put an end to their reign of terror. As is to be expected with modern games, there will be some DLC packs coming out for Skyrim, but that is where the bad news comes in. The first two DLC packs for Skyrim will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 for the first 30 days, with the PC and PS3 platforms getting it afterwards. This deal is similar to what Bethesda has had in the past for the Fallout games, but now it'll take place for an Elder Scrolls game.
It should be just the first two DLC packs that are exclusive, but as to what exactly those will be is anyone's guess. Bethesda has not announced what we can expect from the DLC, but I hope it is something more substantial than the infamous horse armor DLC we got at first for Oblivion. Maybe it'll be an adventure similar to Knights of the Nine or something a bit smaller, like a player building you have to reclaim. Whatever the case may be, Xbox 360 gamers will get the first two DLC packs before anyone else.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim launches on November 11th for the PC, PS3, and 360.
