This bit of news may shock you, but there are still people out there who have never played StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. Blizzard knows this and released a demo for the game, but there was a time restriction on it. All of that is changing, though, as Blizzard has announced the StarCraft II: Starter Edition, which is the new demo of the game that foregoes a time limit. The Starter Edition includes the first four campaign levels plus some multiplayer action, though you'll be limited to using just the Terrans. The fourth campaign mission gives you a choice between going on Tychus' or Dr. Hansen's mission, but you won't be able to continue farther along after that. You can replay the campaign missions as much as you want, plus try out the first two Challenges. There are four custom maps for multiplayer and those are: Xel'Naga Caverns, Shattered Temple, Discord IV, and High Orbit. If you're one of the few who haven't experienced StarCraft II in some form, the Starter Edition is the best bet to get you involved in one of the best RTS games to come out recently.
