The Motorola Droid 3 phone will be making its way to the Verizon network on July 14, one week from today. The Droid 3 features a number of improvements over its predecessor, most notably a 1GHz dual-core processor. The phone also features 512MB of RAM and 16GB of storage, with the possibility of an extra 32GB with a microSD card. The four inch screen will feature a qHD resolution of 960x640. Full 1080p video can be captured and output over HDMI using the available 8 megapixel camera. The phone will run the Gingerbread edition of Android and will be available for the price of $199.99. Unfortunately, customers will also be forced to choose one of the new tiered data plans from Verizon.

well where I live was one of the first test areas for 4g, so I am in 4g all the time. It drains your battery like no other if you leave it on all the time, but boy is it fast. 3g is still pretty quick too, so you aren't missing out on too much.
