Cimmerians and the rest of the Hyborian continent's citizens will be experiencing massive changes in the Age of Conan MMO. Dubbed the Age of Conan Unchained, Funcom's latest version of the brutal game will now be free-to-play, and also introduces several welcome additions by way of patch 2.6. Players can freely roam the dangerous Hyborian landscape at no cost, while premium members gain access to extra content. An in-game store will also be available to all players, with exclusive content reserved for premium members. Another update is the vanity armor option, which lets players wear items outside of combat. Could be useful for charming a damsel after her rescue. Funcom also eases up on the difficulty level, and Khitai dungeons now offer increased rewards for six-man raids on normal mode. Prices have also been slashed heavily for faction armor pieces. With all these enticing new features, the ancient world of Hyboria is sure to receive a healthy influx of new players looking for a bloody ride.
