Corsair Reveals Low Profile Vengeance DDR3 Memory

Corsair has announced an addition to its Vengeance Series of DDR3 memory with the Vengeance LP. The main difference with this kit is the reduced height of its heat spreaders, coming in at only 1.03" instead of the current 1.87". This will allow for extra clearance for users of giant CPU heatsinks or those with small form factor cases, where space is at a premium. The modules will be available in Jet Black, Cerulean Blue, and special edition Arctic White. All will run at 1.5V except the 8GB Arctic White kit which runs at 1.35V. The other colors will be available in 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB kits running at 9-9-9-24 timings at 1600MHz. The memory will be available next month and will be compatible with both Intel and AMD processors.
