For those of you that may be lucky enough to attend Computex at the end of the month in Taiwan, Thecus will have plenty for you to see. Thecus is one of the top worldwide providers for NAS solutions, and there are several new products that will be on display. Thecus will be showing of its trio of enterprise NAS solutions that feature Intel Sandy Bridge chips, the 8-bay N8900, 12-bay N12000PRO, and 16-bay N16000PRO. The N8900 features a dual core i3 2120, while the other two house a quad core Xeon E3-1280. The PRO units will provide the first 100% uptime, high availability NAS solution. This will be accomplished through NAS cloning over 10G Ethernet, and is the first NAS to pass the VMWare iSCSI Certification for advanced business SAN setups. Also on display will be the popular XXX series of home NAS, with features such as the Piczza! Photo Server, mobile app access, and Ext4 support. If you find yourself at Computex, be sure to head over the Thecus booth, at location K416.
