HP Debuts One New Laptop, Two Refreshed Models

New computer components usually means new laptops or at the least, refreshed versions of past models. HP is doing just that as it has one new latop and two refreshed models debuting today. The new laptop is the HP Pavilion dv4 (not to be confused with the dm4x) which is a 14" model and packs an HD LED screen. It features HP CoolSense technology to deliver a laptop that runs cooler than the rest while delivering exceptional performance. Not much was revealed about its internal specifications, but with its $600 asking price I expect it to be of mid-range parts.

One of the refreshed models is the ENVY 14, which gets Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs and USB 3.0 ports. It has an improved trackpad which should make it more responsive than the last model and also features HP CoolSense technology. Lastly there is the HP Mini 210, which has the same internals as the past version but features an edge-to-edge 10.1" display, a six-cell battery as opposed to a four-cell, and a seamless touchpad. HP has also equipped it with Beats Audio and colored cases.

The HP Pavilion dv4 will be available on May 16th for $600, the ENVY 14 on June 15th for $1,000 and higher, and the Mini 210 on June 15th as well but for only $300.
