Apple Suing Samsung For Copying iPhone

Category: General News
Posted: 05:02PM

Apple has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Samsung for infringing on technology developed by Apple. The products in question include the iPhone and iPad. Apple is claiming that Samsung copied the "look and feel" of its devices for the Galaxy S 4G, Epic 4G, and Galaxy Tab. It is unlikely that any judgment will be handed down, and is more likely that an exchange of money will occur between the two companies. Also of significance is that the user interface present on the Samsung devices is based mostly on the default Android configuration. This amounts to little more than another stab at Android by Apple.

Or Samsung will have it thrown out of court and Apple can shove it.

Really? Samsung's recent Galaxy line (I have the Samsung Focus, same hardware, different OS), is very light and glossy plastic whereas Apple has heavy devices, I don't see the similarity at all.

Just from looking at pictures of them I think they do look pretty similar, but I haven't used them. I don't think the similarities will be enough to win a case anyways.

My dad's Epic is nothing like an Iphone, that's like HTC suing Apple for having a Touchscreen since my Touch Pro had one first!
