Flash content is seemingly everywhere on the Internet, even making its way to mobile versions, but one system lacking Flash support are iOS devices. Well, to solve that issue you need a way to convert that Flash content into something usable by devices that don't support it. Adobe, makers of Flash, is making a tool that will convert all Flash content to HTML5 by way of an experimental dev tool codenamed Wallaby. What it does it take Flash-encoded artwork and animations and turns them into a mix of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript which will then work on non-Flash devices. Adobe's initial goal is to enable ad banners running Flash to work on iOS devices, but the possibility exists for a lot more than just ads to take advantage of Wallaby. As to when we may see this taken outside of the experimental stage remains a mystery.
