Sparkle Prepares Single-Slot GTX 570 Video Card

Category: Video Cards, Small Form Factor
Posted: 02:27AM

Sparkle is preparing a single-slot variant of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 570 video card, perfect for HTPCs or compact gaming systems. The new card is thin, but is estimated to be around 13 inches long to compensate for its small width. The single-slot GTX 570 is dubbed to be the first air-cooled single-slot GTX 570, an impressive feat which requires numerous heatsinks, along with a fan which expels air to the rear of the card. The card has clock speeds of 752MHz (core), 1504MHz (shader) and 4000MHz (memory), all higher than the stock speeds. As always, this GTX 570 will include the GF110 40nm GPU, a 1280MB GDDR5 memory buffer and 480 CUDA cores. The card will support DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity. This new single-slot GTX 570 should be available by next month.
